OPAS was founded in 1889 by E.A. Opas as a wholesale supplier to the blind and awning trade, providing the blocks, pulleys, rings and fittings used by manufacturers across the country.
Over the years, the business grew into marine, marquees, automotive and classic car trimming, covers and tarpaulins, leathercraft and many other applications. Having survived two wartime bombings and generations of industry change, OPAS remains a family-owned business built on the same values: reliability, quality and service.
Today, we work with leading manufacturers across the UK, Europe and the USA, giving our customers access to an extensive range of specialist products, backed by knowledge and technical support.
